MrZinsWineTours.com offers luxury chauffeured trips to California’s wine country. This is a WordPress based site with a custom theme allowing easy updates by the site owner to keep the site fresh and current with changing events. Capturing the unique color and style of the limousine in an animated Flash header was a focal point for this project. The website coupled with a Xantek business phone system creates a complete business presence for this start-up limousine company.

LearningFromDVDs.com is an education resource offering thousands of DVDs on all topics. Due to the large and growing product database, this project required the development of special administrative tools to import and manage products. LearningFromDVDs.com’s product data as been integrated with the Amazon market place making all their products available for purchase through Amazon and their affiliates. Currently there are 2,154 free video previews of available products using a custom Flash player. We are looking forward to the future plans to deploy a direct viewing and download platform for the education videos.

The University of California at San Francisco is involved in scientific studies of the human genome. They contracted with Xantek, Inc. to deploy a RAID Linux central file server with tape backup system for mixed OS platform (Win 98, WinNT, WinXP, MAC OS9/OS10) systems including bio-informatics workstations, computer controlled analytical instruments, and robotic liquid handlers. We also developed a web graphical user interface and network applications for automated data delivery from DNA Sequencer and Real time PCR instruments. We implemented and maintained the GCF mail and ftp servers and provided technical support for LAB network and all computer systems including software installation, security updates, etc.

GolfInstructionsBlog.com is a WordPress powered site focusing on golf improvement. Xantek Inc. developed a custom Flash player allowing the site owner to upload instructional videos that play alongside the informational tips loaded via XML. The video tips coupled with golf game tracking system aimed to keep visitors engaged and returning for more information. All of these features were integrated into a custom theme that allows easy updates by the site manager from an administrative control panel.
